Services
Everything below is done in-house at Berserker by our own mechanics. [TBC: confirm final service list with Samson]
Logbook servicing
What is included
We service your car to the exact schedule in the manufacturer's logbook: oil and filter, scheduled replacement items, fluid checks and top-ups, and a look over the whole car. The logbook gets stamped and your statutory new-car warranty stays intact, you do not have to go back to the dealer.
When you need it
Due by time or kilometres, whichever comes first. Check the sticker on your windscreen or the logbook itself, or just call us with your rego and we will look it up.
General mechanical repairs
What is included
Diagnosis and repair across the driveline, cooling system, exhaust, electrical faults, belts and hoses, and everything in between. We quote before we start work and we tell you straight if something can safely wait.
When you need it
Any time the car is doing something it should not: noises, leaks, warning lights, rough running, or loss of power.
Brakes
What is included
Brake inspection, pad and rotor replacement, drum brakes, machining where appropriate, brake fluid flushes, and hydraulic repairs. We show you the worn parts so you can see why the work was needed.
When you need it
Squealing, grinding, a soft or spongy pedal, a pulling sensation when braking, or a brake warning light. Do not sit on any of these.
Suspension and steering
What is included
Shock absorbers and struts, springs, bushes, ball joints, tie rods, and wheel alignment checks. Our roads are hard on suspension, we see the results every week.
When you need it
Knocks or clunks over bumps, wandering steering, uneven tyre wear, or a ride that feels floaty or harsh.
Diagnostics
What is included
Electronic fault scanning, live data testing, and old-fashioned mechanical diagnosis. A fault code is a starting point, not an answer, so we confirm the actual cause before recommending parts.
When you need it
Check engine light, intermittent faults, poor fuel economy, or a problem another workshop could not pin down.
Pre-purchase inspections
What is included
A thorough inspection of a car you are thinking of buying: body and structure, engine and driveline health, brakes, suspension, tyres, electronics, and a road test. You get a plain-English rundown of what is good, what needs money soon, and what the car is really worth.
When you need it
Before you buy any used car privately or from a yard. It is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy.
Not sure which one you need? Call (07) 4927 3975 and describe the problem, or book online.
